Idaho Inferno Soccer Club Referee Program

Do you desire to take your soccer leadership to the next level? Whether you are a previous player, a parent, or like to volunteer to stay active, we can help you grow!  Idaho Inferno Soccer Club understands the importance of referees to our youth program.  We want to do our part to support our youth soccer program and strengthen the current referees and future upcoming referees.  Our referee program supports our club by providing referees for our U10 recreational league and organizes USSF Referee Certification Classes. We act as mentors to new upcoming referees.

Our referee coordinator, Patrick Caceres, is experienced, well connected, and actively involved in the referee scene within the Treasure Valley.   To get started, contact us.

Referee Options

Inferno Club U10 Referee

A great way to start is by officiating at the Recreational U10 level within our own Club. It’s a great way to learn at the grassroots level including a hands on approach. This program allows you to start as an observer, move to an assistant referee, and eventually a center referee; all at the U10 recreational level. We can guide you in the proper steps to becoming fully certified and mentor you along the way.  This program is for anyone 13 years old or older.  Youth and Adults are welcome!

USSF Certified Referee

For those wanting to become USSF (United States Soccer Federation) certified, we are actively recruiting youth and adults of all ages to re-certify and or start the certification process to become a USSF referee. There has recently been a high demand in referee’s, especially adults who have played in the past and/or are coaches, or are somehow affiliated with the sport. Please note the minimum age to become USSF certified is now 13 years old.
